Craft Origin: Forge World Mezoa | Inquisition
Affiliation: Rogue Trader Dynasty
Availability: Singular Relic
Trade Access: Closed
Customizable: Yes
Materials: Ship Components
Warp-Resonant: No
Special Properties
  • Pocket Carrier: The Rapier-class carries a small amount of attack craft and launch bays in addition to its frigate weaponry, which provides defense against enemy fighters and ordnance as well as giving planetside assets aerial support other escorts usually are unable to provide.
Strengths
  • Wolf in Sheeps Clothing: The Last Full Measure is equipped with systems and components that allow it to mimic other ships both visibly and by augur array, and disguise some of its archaeotech as mundane equipment.
  • Blockade Runner: When running silent, the ship can be very difficult to detect with augury and auspex, often allowing it to pass by undetected.
Weaknesses
  • Gaps in the Hull: The structural integrity of the Rapier-class is less than the likes of the Firestorm or Sword-class frigates of the Imperial Navy due to the openings required for its Launch Bays.
DESCRIPTION
The
Last Full Measure is a heavily modified Rapier-class Frigate serving the Inquisition as an operations center for the warbands of the Ordo Hereticus, taking direct action teams to missions throughout Imperium Nihilus. Based on the hull of the Imperial Navy's most venerable workhouse, the Sword-class Frigate, the Rapier-class is effectively a Firestorm-class that has replaced the prow lance weapons with small escort Torpedo Launchers and made space for a ventral Launch Bay by rearranging its layout and cutting the ground assault material it is able to carry. The launch bay provides the ship with small escort patrols and attack craft useful for scouting, surveying, and fighting off enemy raiders, however the class lacks the raw firepower compared to the Sword and Firestorm. The Last Full Measure is the only vessel owned by the Barabos Dynasty, currently captained by Shipmaster Hektur Barabos, a grizzled veteran Rogue Trader known for his skill at the helm, having dared Warp Storms and the ides of the Great Rift. He is supported by his seneschal and Firstmate, Commander Charlotte Hawthorne, and the ship's Navigator, Elijah Orson.

The Measure makes use of several technologies to avoid suspicion by mimic other ships and ship types when possible. Using closing panels, the launch bay can be concealed, its drive appears on scanners as mundane despite being a rare Cybra-pattern, and mask its reconfigurable prowhead and the chameleon hull it uses to change its appearance. When hiding in plain sight fails, running silent to hide in the void is its next strategy. Cybra-pattern drives use enhanced heat sinks and bafflers to mask its drive trail and an Empyrean Mantle to help deflect augury sensors so long as the Measure remains running silent with its void shields and weapons powered down. The interior of the ship is simple, corridors running long stretches smelling of machinery, oil, and warp engine discharge that permeates every inch of the aging vessel. Cables and wires are often exposed, either awaiting maintenance or rigged to bypass damaged circuits that no longer function.

Offensively, the ship makes use of a Sunsear-patter Macro Laser Destroyer battery mounted in a turret housing along the dorsal ridge near base the aft-castle and a set of Voss-pattern Light Torpedo Launchers fixed into the prow of the vessel. Two batteries of point-defense lascannons defend the ship from enemy attack craft and ordnance, and a battery of flak cannons aid these weapons with a blanket of flak fire at close range. Along the ventral spine are the openings for the Rapier-class's launch bays, housing both voidborne and aeronautica craft. Further to the rear sits the opening to the hangar bay for the shuttles, assault boats, and heavy landers used by the ship to ferry troops and supplies to and from the ship.

In the lower decks, the ship has a deck dedicated to commercial and social services serving as the hub for the ship's leisure activities. Located near the Lighter Bays, the Promenade is typically bustling with crewmen, pilgrims, and travelers who seek to pass the time of travel with entertainment. It is a place where soldiers can find cuisine from varying cultures for a few coins when they tire of the fair provided by the mess. In addition to the diners and dive bars, clothing can be purchased, knick-knacks, even fresh produce shortly after visiting ports.

Hidden in the bowels of the Measure is the Well, the hub the Inquisition uses as the base for its operations. The Well is a large multi-story cylindrical shaft with a domed roof surrounded by mezzanines that acts as the communal gathering place for mission briefs, while all the structures required for the Inquisition to live there can be found within, including armoriums, mess-halls, a chapel, and the brig for holding the Inquisition's prisoners.

Amazing work! I found one issue:
This is a "Weaponry" in the template, please edit it:

And here, this is just a request, if you don't want to make this, you don't have to edit, but if you do; would you be so nice to link these?

Done. I chose offense because I was going to list the weapons later and Offense seemed to correlate with Defense better to my brain.

I would prefer not to as the lexicanum/warhammerwikia aren't that extensive. These are things from the Rogue Trader books in the chapters for shipbuilding, not pages I found online so there isn't really something to link to in regards to the weapons and augurs.

I'm sure some of the planes are on there, but not all.
