What is this section?
The Dark Imperium board allows the characters not only to play in canon situations, but also to put their characters in situations that otherwise would not happen, or would only happen off-panel, and sometimes it would be better if there were traces of these as well.

Non Canon stories, the name speaks for itself, any story that is not canon. There can also be cross over threads here, or anything that could not otherwise happen in the world.
Situation Games: This may be an unfamiliar game to many. This thread type is about the other players giving you a situation based on the described criteria and you have to react to it with the character. You open a thread here in the discussion section, where you describe what you would like, for example:
- Canon situation, be romantic and funny.
- Or, let it be a canon and horror theme.
- Or, non-canon.
- Maybe, whatever, you leave it up to the other players.
- The character meets someone in the most unlikely place who is in a similar predicament like your character, and the dire situation turns more and more into a comedy, while the character and the other person maybe become closer to each other (this other person could be NPC, or other player's character if you want to cooperate someone else in this, etc.).
- The character heard legends and worrying news that orks are terrorizing the people living near to the Imperium's border. Your character decides to investigate/solve it. However, when he arrives in the village late at the planet, it turns out that the all of villagers on this knight world are orks, and they don't like outsiders...
- Non-canon, the character wakes up in the morning to find that are have lost their psychic abilities (if they are a pysker) or has just gained psychic abilities; and it makes their morning and maybe their whole life very difficult? Do they want their old life back or do they accept this?
- Anything, really anything, that only someone can think of. Be creative!
After you receive the situation, you open a thread for it in the Situation section and write the story there. Both threads can actually be collectors, so it can be "Char name's situation thread | OOC" and you always write your requests here, the same in the Situation game's section, "Char name's situations" or "Char name's tales" etc. And then you don't always have to open a new thread, but everything will always be in one place. But if you want, of course you can always open new threads to every single situation.
What if? This is also quite clear. What would have happened if Cadia did not fall? Or just what would the world have been like if the Emperor died by Horus' hands? What would have happened if the hero character turned evil, or the evil became the greatest hero of their nation? What if the tyranids conquered the entire galaxy? The stories are only limited by your imagination.
