Biography:
Ludotius Tarisius was inducted into the Scythes of the Emperor during the rebuilding years following the Great Sundering, when much of the Imperium's communication and supply lines were severed by the opening of the Great Rift. His generation of Primaris Marines was forged to restore Chapter honor and maintain Imperial presence in the scattered sectors of Sotha.

During the Decade of the First Lost Stars (010–080.M42), Ludotius saw his defining combat experience. While deployed on a reclamation campaign against a Chaos incursion on the world of Cerathon Prime, he led a strike squad into an urban complex partially consumed by warp-taint. A misjudged boarding maneuver left six of his squad dead when daemon-infested defenses overwhelmed their advance. Ludotius survived, rescued from the edge of destruction by a retrieval team, but the loss weighed heavily on him.

Promoted to Lieutenant, he now leads a small strike squad in operations along the Sotha border sectors, where warp disturbances and scattered rebel forces make reinforcements slow or impossible. Ludotius carries the memory of his lost squad into every mission, training new Marines with relentless discipline and sometimes harsh correction. His temperament blends compassion for civilians and allies with a hard, iron-edged command style; he believes that preparation, discipline, and respect for life require firmness, even at the cost of his own popularity.

Though no psyker, Ludotius' advanced Primaris enhancements allow him to face threats most mortals cannot survive, yet he never places himself above his brothers. the memory of those lost reminds him that survival depends on vigilance, courage, and sometimes, the bitter enforcement of rules.
